Review: Melvita Rose Petal Shower

Hi loves! So this week's second post is here and its on Melvita Rose Petal Shower (250ml, €14.00). If you are not familiar with the brand, Melvita is a France brand and they make natural and organic beauty products. They have been around over 30 years.

The formula of this shower gel is soap free and contains 3 wild rose extracts, which are hand picked. 99% of the ingredients are natural and 10% are organic. Its certified organic by ECOCERT. It has a faint rose scent, which I love. It makes shower experience so much more enjoyable. The formula is sulphate free and there is not color to the shower gel itself. It fits all skin types.

It can be used daily and the formula doesn't dry out my skin, which so many shower gels do. It feels light weight and I also enjoy the faint rose scent it leaves around me in the shower. It doesn't leave a scent on the skin though. Down below you can find full list of ingredients.

Ingredients: WATER - GLYCERIN - AMMONIUM LAURYL SULFATE - COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE - CAPRYLYL/CAPRYL GLUCOSIDE - HORDEUM VULGARE EXTRACT *- DECYL GLUCOSIDE - ROSA DAMASCENA FLOWER WATER* - ROSA CANINA FLOWER EXTRACT* - ROSA GALLICA FLOWER EXTRACT* - ROSA RUBIGINOSA SEED OIL*- ROSA DAMASCENA FLOWER OIL** - GLYCERYL OLEATE - COCO-GLUCOSIDE - SODIUM LEVULINATE - HYDROGENATED PALM GLYCERIDES CITRATE - LEVULINIC ACID - SODIUM BENZOATE - BENZOIC ACID - POTASSIUM SORBATE – ALCOHOL*** - TOCOPHEROL - PARFUM/FRAGRANCE – LINALOOL** - GERANIOL** - CITRONELLOL** - CITRAL**.

I usually don't get excited about shower gels, but this one is beautiful. It smells good, its natural, gentle to my skin and doesn't dry it out. Its a first body care item I have tried from them. I have tried toothpaste before and I liked it. Next I wanna try something from the skincare range.

If you are interested in this and like rose scented items, you can find it here.

Review: Ontic Minerals Compact Single Eyeshadows

Hi loves! Once again the weekend just flew by me. I did have fever on Friday and I just couldn't make myself write a blog post. That means this week you'll get 2. The first post is a review on Ontic Minerals Compact Single Eyeshadows in shade West Coast, Starfish, Scarlet, Moondust and Dewy Green (9.95€, 2g).

These just come in a pan and is easy to put into a magnetic palette, which I really like. The formula does contain vitamin E, which is a strong antioxidant and protects the skin against free radicals. It also enriched with jojoba oil, which moisturizes and softens the skin.

The overall quality of the shadows is good. These are pigmented and can be build up to full color. It would be good for beginners or you just want wash of color all over the lid. On swatches you can se how they are and there is one shadow, which I'm not happy at all, which you can see swatched down below. These feel more stiff in the pan and I didn't get any fall out when using these.

  • West Coast - is beautiful shimmery champaign shade. Its gorgeous highlighter for inner corner of the eye or on the face.
  • Starfish - is shimmery orange peachy shade. I love doing one shadow look with it. Looks so pretty all over the lid!
  • Scarlet - looks gorgeous in the pan! Its shimmery red brown shade, which doesn't look true to the color in the pan and it didn't swatch evenly at all.

  • Moondust - is shimmery blue gray with green sheen to it. I don't think I own any eyeshadow like this one, its so unique.
  • Dewy Green - is shimmery cool tone green with hint gray to it.

I have mixed feelings about these shadows. I do love the shades and find them unique. I would like the formula to be more buttery and some of the colors to be more true what they look like in the pan. But I have done beautiful looks with these and I'll keep using them. If you wanna check out their pressed single eyeshadows, you can find them here.

If you wanna see the looks I have created with these shadows you can check it out here and here

Have you tried their pressed shadows before?

Review: Bellápierre Shimmer 9 Stack | Glamorous

Hi loves! Sorry for missing last week's post, but my life is crazy at the moment. I have hard time keeping up with my other blog and I just feel stressed. But this week I took time off and here I am with a new review. Today we are talking about Bellápierre Shimmer 9 Stack in Glamorous ($90.00) and I have reviewed one before, which where their Shimmer Powders (review).

The Glamour 9 Stack contains only glitters. There is 9 glitters, which come in a clear packaging and they are stacked up on each other. Its a great way to store it and to travel with it, because it doesn't make a mess. I haven't had any issues using it. If you are afraid of a mess when working with loose glitters or eyeshadows, put a towel under the shadows when you open them, so when something does come out it will go on the towel.

I love the shades they have included in this set. There is something for every occasion. There is light shades and also more bold shades. With these there is a change you get fall out, so use them before you do your face makeup. I use NYX Glitter primer to apply these and a tamp flat eyeshadow brush. The glitter primer has tacky base and the glitter stays on and doesn't move around. I also used it on swatches which you can see down below.

I usually go more to the lighter shades, because the bolder ones are too strong for day time :D Yes, I wear glitter in my everyday life. If I wait for special occasion I can't wear it as much as I want. I love the selection of this set and if you are looking a good glitter set I would recommend it. I know its pricy, but I trust Bellápierre as a company and I haven't had any issues with any of their products, including these glitters. If you are interested you can check it out here.

Review: Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask | Rose

Hi loves! Sorry for missing last week's post. I have had super stressful period. I'm moving to other country and at the same time I constantly have to travel to France from Belgium. Life has been more complicated the usual. I have hard time finding the time to just sit down and write. Anyway this week's post is on Innisfree Its Real Squeeze Mask Rose (20ml, $0.79).

The mask comes in a beautiful packaging and has roses on it. The mask itself also smells like roses. It claims to give supple and radiant skin, which we all want. The mask had nice amount of essence on it and it fit well. It was bit big around the mouth area. This is triple layer sheet mask and that means it helps the essence gradually sink into the skin and its  more  moisturizing. The rose in it provides moisture to the skin and makes it supple and smooth. The jeju green complex consists green tea, tangerine, cactus camemllia leaves and orchids to keep the skin healthy.

I applied it on cleansed skin, after applying toner. I kept the mask on 20 minutes, which is the max recommended time. After the time was up, I removed the mask and let the essence sink into the skin. My skin felt after the mask refreshed, soft, smooth and hydrated. Down below you can see the before and after pictures.

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Ethanol, Betaine, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Rosa Centifolia Juice (200mg), Xanthan Gum, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tangerine Peel Extract, Orchid Extract, The green Tea Extract, Camellia Leaf Extract, Prickly Pear Extract, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

It does contain fragrance, so it might irritate sensitive skin. I personally didn't have any irritations, but I don't have sensitive skin myself.

Would I buy it again? Yes I would! Its affordable, does great job making my skin looking radiant and it smells like roses.  If you are interested you can find it on RoseRoseShop (link).

Review: Ontic Minerals Ontic Pro Structor Duo

Hi loves! Hope you are all doing well! Today's post is on Ontic Minerals Ontic Pro Structor Duo (8g, 26.95€).

They are one of my favorite mineral makeup brands. Their products are vegan and cruelty free. I love their loose bronzers and their highlighting duo is out of this world. Its one of the reasons I picked up this duo. I wanted one more highlighter from them, because the formula is so buttery and it looks absolutely gorgeous on skin. In this compact there is a highlighter, a bronzer and a mirror. The compact closes magnetically and is sleek.

Like I said the highlighter in this duo is brilliant, but the bronzer is more stiff and is not as pigmented. Also these are together in the pan, which makes it hard to pick up only the bronzer. I would like to repress the bronzer, so it wouldn't be so stiff, but then I have to do the same with the highlighter. Also the shimmer of the highlighter gets into the bronzer and the tone of it is too warm to use it as a contouring powder.

On the left you can see swatches of the highlighter and the bronzer. The bronzer didn't swatch well at all, but it can be build up and get a nice look. I just need to work harder on it. I wish the bronzer had same buttery formula then the highlighter. Then it could be perfect dup for summer.

I have used mostly the highlighter in this duo and it stays on my cheek bones all day with out fading away.

The big question is: do I regret buying it and I have to say no. I love the highlighter and I don't mind paying this much just for the highlighter, because its as good as Becca highlighters. I love the shade and I only wish they would come out with more buttery highlighters :) and maybe try to make the other powders as amazing as the highlighters are.

If you are interested checking out their face duos you can find all 3 here. I highly recommend the highlighting duo, its so good!
